I am Thine, O Lord, I have heard Thy voice

1
I am Thine, O Lord, I have heard Thy voice,
  And it told Thy love to me;
But I long to rise in the arms of faith,
  And be closer drawn to Thee.

Draw me nearer, nearer, blessed Lord,
  To the cross where Thou hast died;
Draw me nearer, nearer, nearer, blessed Lord,
    To Thy precious, bleeding side.
2
Consecrate me now to Thy service, Lord,
  By the pow'r of grace divine;
Let my soul look up with a steadfast hope,
  And my will be lost in Thine.
3
O the pure delight of a single hour
  That before Thy throne I spend,
When I kneel in prayer, and with Thee, my God,
  I commune as friend with friend!
4
There are depths of love that I yet may know
  Ere Thee face to face I see;
There are heights of joy that I yet may reach
  Ere I rest in peace with Thee.

It's about 4:30 AM local time when sleep suddenly goes and the song playing in my mind is this one! Intuitively I search on for it on the net. The song ministers to me like somebody is personally speaking to me—I know God the Holy Spirit did!" Let my soul look up with a steadfast hope and my will be lost in thine.." encouraging to hope in God & always submit my will to His Amen!.

Concecrate me Lord to Thy service Lord

by Thy power of grace divine

May my soul look up with a steadfast hope

and my will be lost in Thine

When I kneel in prayer

and with Thee my Lord

i commune as friend with friend.

There r depths of love

there r heights of joy

i may never know

till I rest in peace with Thee

Draw me nearer Lord 🙏🏼

On April 3, 2019 @ 9:37 am I heard the refrain of this song in my spirit. Workers came to install something in my station so I found a quiet place to sit in the presence of the Lord;? and wow I did not know how great His loving Presence for me at that moment through these words of this hymn were. All I could do was release the insurmountable weight I felt and weep. Jesus instantly removed it and filled me with consolation and strength. When I came home, I began to think on all that must be accomplished and as I was thinking to ask, ‘how am I going to get all this done’, before I thought the complete question, the hymn was playing again in my spirit and I know in, with, through Christ by the Holy Spirit is how I must live.

In my devotional this morning the Apostle Paul’s word to the church in Philippi came to me “that I might know Him in the power of His resurrection. In the fellowship of His suffering, being made conformance unto His death. ” This hymn so vividly depicts this heart’s desire. It really blessed me today.

This song inspires me to never give up on the things of God... It tells me God almighty loves me... And there is hope of seeing Him face to face.
