The hymn is one of my best—it keeps reminding me of the fact that without Him (God), I can do nothing. That God the Holy Spirit is all the Help I need in all matters in life.

Since my High school years, this song has ministered to me and continuing. The stanzas speak of hope in the only entity that matters most above all things - God. Those that found refuge in Him have never been taken by surprise of what life might bring to them.
