My faith has found a resting place

1
My faith has found a resting place,
  Not in device nor creed;
I trust the Ever-living One,
  His wounds for me shall plead.

I need no other argument,
  I need no other plea;
It is enough that Jesus died,
    And that He died for me.
2
Enough for me that Jesus saves,
  This ends my fear and doubt;
A sinful soul I come to Him,
  He'll never cast me out.
3
My heart is leaning on the Word,
  The written Word of God,
Salvation by my Savior's name,
  Salvation through His blood.
4
My great Physician heals the sick,
  The lost He came to save;
For me His precious blood He shed,
  For me His life He gave.

I remembered this song a few days ago after singing it last about twelve years ago and decided to search for it online. I found it and I am blessed. These old hymns can never be compared with contemporary songs. The text and music can make you feel heaven.

I was inspired to this hymn today and it is a blessing to my soul. This hymn has the inspirational power to connect a wondering soul to the Cross the source of life for a new session of refreshing. Let the name of the Lord be praised for this soul inspiring hymn and the likes.

What a song. I really like this song. It is really true that, there is no resting place like in Jesus. And if you don't seek Jesus and take your problems to Him in pray, you will forfeit the peace, joy you are to enjoy.
