When we sing this hymn, it so easily draws out many praises to Him with longings for His glory. In verse one, praises are to Him, the three-one God; in verse two, glory upon glory is given to Him for what the Three have worked out. He alone is worthy of praise for Who He is – the essence of His Person; and deserves glory for what He has done – the accomplishments in His purpose. “Let us praise Him! ” and “Give Him glory! ”

Let us Praise Him for what He has done to us. Its not a simple thing to be redeemed, therefore all redeemed ones should praise Him.
