Woke up this morning with this song in my head. Leaning on the everlasting arms! I believe God is encouraging me to trust in Him even the more because in Him there is NO alarms; everything will be alright when He’s in control. And you put your life in His hands! Praise You Jesus.

According to The United Methodist Hymnal copyright date 1989, The 3rd verse should read:

"What have I to dread, what have I to fear, leaning on the everlasting arms.

I have blessed peace with my Lord so near, leaning on the everlasting arms."

Learnt and sang it for the first time in a group retreat yesterday. It was a tremendous blessing to me. Indeed, I'm safe and secured from all alarms! Hallelujah!

My mum died 20 years ago in November 1st, 2018 and in remberance and celebration of my mum's struggles and sacrifices, I am inspired to write a book on A RESTING Christian. I have been a struggling Christian trying to sort things out on my own. I gradually moved to striving and thought that was all that it is to it. But just recently I discovered that I can actually enjoy a greater relationship with God by being still and allowing Him take over. I desire to be a Resting Christian. This song really would be the special song for my book. Thank You Jesus. Love You.

What a joyful message to have! Truly, what have I to fear?

Am giving God thanks for his Holy Spirit that give me peace when all around me to be falling apart. It's not easy to see your child going through sickness that you don't know where it comes from but my hope is in Jesus Christ, like the three Hebrew men am standing on what I believe, that one day God will deliver my child. This song just drop in my spirit to God be all the glory.

Praise the Lord and Savior and forget not His love. I am blessed with every words of this song. Thank God I am free, what about you? Thank You Lord.

Woke up here this morning with the words of the 1st stanza ringing in my head — God confirming the real sweet fellowship which I had yesterday with fellow my fellow country men — powerful message and the sweet Spirit that was felt among the brethren.

I woke up with a the thought of this song this morning, after I searched for the lyrics I come out to say this is not just another song but a message of hope and comfort to a weary soul.

Last night I decided to separate myself by moving to the adjoining room in my apartment, away from my wife and children in order to have a fellowship with the Lord, as I woke up this morning this song came ringing in my heart and I have been singing it since then. What a fellowship, what a joy divine. The fear of death is gone when I sang this song alleluyah.

What have you to dread, what have you to fear! Nothing at all! His arms are a safe haven. He will never let you down. He will love you to your last breath...and through all eternity...lean on the everlasting arms....you are safe and secure from all alarms...in His arms.
