I am Thine, O Lord, I have heard Thy voice

1
I am Thine, O Lord, I have heard Thy voice,
  And it told Thy love to me;
But I long to rise in the arms of faith,
  And be closer drawn to Thee.
  Draw me nearer, nearer, blessed Lord,
  To the cross where Thou hast died;
Draw me nearer, nearer, nearer, blessed Lord,
    To Thy precious, bleeding side.
2
Consecrate me now to Thy service, Lord,
  By the pow’r of grace divine;
Let my soul look up with a steadfast hope,
  And my will be lost in Thine.
3
O the pure delight of a single hour
  That before Thy throne I spend,
When I kneel in prayer, and with Thee, my God,
  I commune as friend with friend!
4
There are depths of love that I yet may know
  Ere Thee face to face I see;
There are heights of joy that I yet may reach
  Ere I rest in peace with Thee.

We have a prayer line at my church and my time to be on the prayer line is midnight, I called the line and no one was on it and I began singing this song. I didn't remember all of the words so I came on line and found the lyrics and I didn't know abour verse 3, and when I began singing it I began to feel the presence of God and weep before Him realizing that He gave me the song to sing before we commune together. He is awesome!

This evening, as I was leaving to go to a meeting of our church leaders, this song came to me. So I sang this song driving to church. To start our meeting, I asked that we sing this song. From this song we consecrated ourselves to the Lord's service, and consecrated our service to the Lord, and asked that we would experience the power of grace divine that night, and that the Lord would lift up our soul with a steadfast hope that night. It all happened as we asked, and we thanked Him for these.
