This truly is a wonderful hymn which was sang during our devotion at 5am this morning. It reminded me of the All poweful God in whom I believe. Jesus Christ the Rock, the Head of the Corner Stone, the Solid Foundation. It is on Jesus' blood and Righteousness that my hope in the second coming of the Lord is built on.

The words of this hymn is so comforting.

My hope is built on nothing less, than Jesus blood and righteousness.

We can trust in Jesus Christ, no matter what our trials and tribulations He will will be with us.

KJV Isaiah 43:2

When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.

With Christ in the vessel we can smile at our storms.

Coming out alive with my kids from an accident that took the life of the other driver is a testimony of a century that I'd ceaselessly uttered. Meditating through the wordings of this hymn, I can say with full assurance that Jesus Christ is the only solid Rock and ALL other ground is a sinking sand. To him alone I say be glory forever and ever, amen.

As I was praying this morning this hymn came to mind. was reminded again that our only hope in this life is in Christ Jesus. While I do understand that things get changed around a little bit sometimes I believe the first verse is incorrect it should be Jesus blood and righteousness not Jesus Christ my righteousness while it sounds good it would give the appearance of being one of those hymns that was altered to remove the word blood from I do hope that is not the case in this situation

I remember singing this hymn as a child. I woke up this morning with this song in my head. It was great to see all the lyrics here.

This song is so uplifting and inspiring

Truly I'm encouraged by this song. Surely and trustfully, My HOPE is built on nothing less. All other ground is sinking sand.

The Lord is wonderfully faithful with His promises to us. Depression and being cast down when we praise His name! They have to leave. I’ve struggled with that as well. I pray for those who struggle with it and rebuke it in Jesus name! We are not alone. Yes if you have asked Jesus into your heart and asked the forgiveness of your sins He is faithful and He abides in you and you in Him, He will find you faultless when the trumpet sounds! Yes it’s amazing how Jesus can whisper in our ear/hearts and minds words of comfort. My goodness I read these writings and it’s so wonderfully comforting to see God helping all His children. Everywhere around the world He hears our prayers, He sees our needs, He hears our cries and reaches down and blesses us. Never, never give up. Keep going when despair comes praise His name when we are down cast for in His praises He inhabits His people. I grew up with this song and was singing it. The first verse I had wrong I was saying His blood of righteousness. I love you my brothers and sisters in Christ!!! God is so good! He has delivered me from anxiety and panic attacks that followed with nausea. It was a sin I was harboring, a hidden sin I was unaware of. The Holy Spirit directed me to it during devotions. He set me free from it. My heart can sing even more and adore Him even deeper yet!

I didn't know all the words to this hymn until I logged onto your website. I was humming only the parts that I knew. I am so glad the Holy Spirit prompted me to look for it. It has made me glad inside to know that now I know all the words to this beautiful hymn.

I was so depressed and down casted when I sang this song this morning I felt the peace of God is my heart.
