There is a fountain filled with blood
Drawn from Immanuel’s veins;
And sinners, plunged beneath that flood,
Lose all their guilty stains:
Lose all their guilty stains,
Lose all their guilty stains;
And sinners, plunged beneath that flood,
Lose all their guilty stains.
Drawn from Immanuel’s veins;
And sinners, plunged beneath that flood,
Lose all their guilty stains:
Lose all their guilty stains,
Lose all their guilty stains;
And sinners, plunged beneath that flood,
Lose all their guilty stains.

The dying thief rejoiced to see
That fountain in his day;
And there may I, though vile as he,
Wash all my sins away:
Wash all my sins away,
Wash all my sins away;
And there may I, though vile as he,
Wash all my sins away.
That fountain in his day;
And there may I, though vile as he,
Wash all my sins away:
Wash all my sins away,
Wash all my sins away;
And there may I, though vile as he,
Wash all my sins away.

Dear dying Lamb, Thy precious blood
Shall never lose its power,
Till all the ransomed ones of God
Be saved, to sin no more:
Be saved, to sin no more,
Be saved, to sin no more;
Till all the ransomed ones of God,
Be saved to sin no more.
Shall never lose its power,
Till all the ransomed ones of God
Be saved, to sin no more:
Be saved, to sin no more,
Be saved, to sin no more;
Till all the ransomed ones of God,
Be saved to sin no more.

E’er since by faith I saw the stream
Thy flowing wounds supply,
Redeeming love has been my theme,
And shall be till I die:
And shall be till I die,
And shall be till I die;
Redeeming love has been my theme,
And shall be till I die.
Thy flowing wounds supply,
Redeeming love has been my theme,
And shall be till I die:
And shall be till I die,
And shall be till I die;
Redeeming love has been my theme,
And shall be till I die.

When this poor lisping, stammering tongue
Lies silent in the grave,
Then in a nobler, sweeter song,
I’ll sing Thy power to save:
I’ll sing Thy power to save,
I’ll sing Thy power to save;
Then in a nobler, sweeter song,
I’ll sing Thy power to save.
Lies silent in the grave,
Then in a nobler, sweeter song,
I’ll sing Thy power to save:
I’ll sing Thy power to save,
I’ll sing Thy power to save;
Then in a nobler, sweeter song,
I’ll sing Thy power to save.

That fountain is still flowing. It has never lost its power and can never lose it. Halleluyah.

To become a born again, a real Christian, people have to repent of their unbelief and believe the gospel (John 16 verse 5 to 8, Mark 1 verse 5), John 3 verse 3). When this happens God gives us everlasting life (John 3 verse 16). The blood of Jesus Christ, God's Son, cleanses us from all confessed sin - confessed direct to God, that is (1 Timothy 2 verse 5 and 1 John 1 verse 9).
And finally, the proof of our salvation is when we tell other people the gospel (Romans 10 verse 9).

What wondrous love is this, O my soul, O my soul!
May we all never cease to wonder at this unfathomable love that God in Christ has called us to. And, what can separate us from this great love? Duh, NOTHING!!! (Rom 8). If God is for us........ no thing......... no body.... can be against us!!! What a Father!! What a Savior!!! Blessings and grace to all of you who are kept "in Him" (Eph 1) and who love our precious Lamb of God.

A real song for all ages which has the gospel in it. Today we see very less in this nature.

Thank you I had the hymn, There is a fountain filled with blood, in my mind and wasn’t sure of all the words. It was great to sit during quiet time and worship God by singing the song and hearing the wonderful piano music in the background. Thank you so much.
