1
I must tell Jesus all of my trials;
I cannot bear these burdens alone;
In my distress He kindly will help me;
He ever loves and cares for His own.

I must tell Jesus! I must tell Jesus!
I cannot bear my burdens alone;
I must tell Jesus! I must tell Jesus!
  Jesus can help me, Jesus alone.
2
I must tell Jesus all of my troubles;
He is a kind, compassionate Friend;
If I but ask Him, He will deliver,
And in my griefs with me He will blend.
3
Tempted and tried I need a great Savior,
One who can help my burdens to bear;
I must tell Jesus, I must tell Jesus;
He all my cares and sorrows will share,
4
O how the world to evil allures me!
O how my heart is tempted to sin!
I must tell Jesus; He will enable
Over the world the vic'try to win.

Praise God from whom all blessings flow. During the time when I was feeling the spirit of discontent and discouragement God allowed this song to stir in my spirit. When I was a child I would often hear my Mother sing this until her heart was comforted by knowing only Jesus can hear & solve our worries. I embraced this song with the gratitude of “Praise”

Thank You Jesus & Amen & Amen.

Battling, this morning, a re-occurring struggle. Feeling so alone and vunerable, in a foreign land! And in an inward search to find relief and strengthen my resilience, this old hymn, from my early childhood, suddenly popped into my mind!! Thank You, Lord!

Immediately felt the words of this song this morning as I was faced with yet another wave of an ongoing deep trial I’ve been struggling with a couple years now. And this one issue is only one on the list of many in my life at this particular time. I feel like Joseph and all the long years of trials he faced even though he didn’t deserve it; he continued to trust God despite the wrongs that were done to him -repeatedly. My prayer is that I can say one day, as Joseph did, “... you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good... ”. Help me to think upon Your Names, such as El Roi -The God who sees me

El Shaddai-God Almighty

Jehova Shalom-The God of Peace

Adonai-Lord of all

This song is so powerful.

It consoles and reminds me that God is real and ever cares.

Revised version:

1. I must tell Jesus all of my trials;

I cannot bear these burdens alone;

In distress, He alone can assist me;

Wipe my tears, sympathize with His own.

Chorus:

I must tell Jesus! I must tell Jesus!

Pour out my heart to Jesus alone;

I must tell Jesus! I must tell Jesus!

He knows, He comforts—Jesus alone.

2. I must tell Jesus all of my troubles;

I cannot bear my burdens alone;

My affairs, only Jesus can shoulder;

Comfort and soothe me—Jesus alone.

3. I must tell Jesus all my shortcomings;

I cannot face my worries alone;

I taste His riches, my need supplying,

More than sufficient—Jesus alone.

4. I must tell Jesus all of my weakness;

I can't o'ercome flesh, lust, on my own;

From law of sin, from all of my bondage,

He can release me—Jesus alone.

5. I must tell Jesus all my temptations;

I can't withstand the tempter alone.

In a like manner Jesus was tempted;

Jesus can rescue—Jesus alone.
