This morning I decided to learn this hymn which I had not sung before. So I got on my iPhone, and began to look it up on hymnal. net. But before that I got stuck on an Instagram thread that took about 10 minutes of my time. Then, as I sang this song, everything was manifested. Stsnza two says “wait for the unguarded hours”. I recognized I was completely unguarded, and the principalities and the powers were mustering their unseen array to prevent me from my morning watch time. But hallelujah, Christ is Victor! After confessing that sin I began to contact and absorb our lovely Savior.

I had a dream last where I heard the instrument of the song in my head, I started singing and didn't know the 3rd lyrics of stanza one. While poundering on it a voice said " thou are in the midst of foes' watch and pray, oh how I prayed in my dream I prayed with all my strength I woke up this to confirm if the lyrics was correct behold God actually spoke to me. Thank you God for your unwavering love and mercy , for making us spiritually alert may he be praised forever and ever Amen. The Almighty God Exist hallelujah to the most high God thank you Jesus
