All the way my Savior leads me;
What have I to ask beside?
Can I doubt His tender mercy,
Who through life has been my Guide?
Heav’nly peace, divinest comfort,
Here by faith in Him to dwell!
For I know, whate’er befall me,
Jesus doeth all things well,
For I know, whate’er befall me,
Jesus doeth all things well.
What have I to ask beside?
Can I doubt His tender mercy,
Who through life has been my Guide?
Heav’nly peace, divinest comfort,
Here by faith in Him to dwell!
For I know, whate’er befall me,
Jesus doeth all things well,
For I know, whate’er befall me,
Jesus doeth all things well.

All the way my Savior leads me,
Cheers each winding path I tread,
Gives me grace for every trial,
Feeds me with the living bread.
Though my weary steps may falter,
And my soul athirst may be,
Gushing from the Rock before me,
Lo! a spring of joy I see,
Gushing from the Rock before me,
Lo! a spring of joy I see.
Cheers each winding path I tread,
Gives me grace for every trial,
Feeds me with the living bread.
Though my weary steps may falter,
And my soul athirst may be,
Gushing from the Rock before me,
Lo! a spring of joy I see,
Gushing from the Rock before me,
Lo! a spring of joy I see.

All the way my Savior leads me;
Oh, the fullness of His grace!
Perfect rest to me is promised
In my Father’s blest embrace.
When my spirit, clothed immortal,
Wings its flight to realms of day,
This my song through endless ages:
Jesus led me all the way,
This my song through endless ages:
Jesus led me all the way.
Oh, the fullness of His grace!
Perfect rest to me is promised
In my Father’s blest embrace.
When my spirit, clothed immortal,
Wings its flight to realms of day,
This my song through endless ages:
Jesus led me all the way,
This my song through endless ages:
Jesus led me all the way.

I was born in 1963. I joined the church choir when I was still very young. Round about 15. It was always a great honor to sing in the choir. As with time my memory faltering and it is a worrying factor. But strange how the songs and words which I learned at such a tender age stuck in your head. When you wake up with it singing loud in your head, you got no other option but to glorify our Lord. What a beautiful song and words. All the way my Saviour leads me. What have I to ask beside? Indeed Lord. What have I to ask beside?

This song was a source of courage and strength to a dear friend as she was dying. She repeatedly asked me to sing it to her...."Can I doubt His tender mercy Who through life has been my Guide.......Jesus led me all the way."

My daddy was a country preacher. My parents have been in heaven a long time. I turned 70 yesterday. Like many of you phrases were running through my head early this morning. Reading all your comments as well as singing these comforting words...my spirit soared by my brothers and sisters in Christ all over the world sharing different struggles and extolling praises to Jesus for His great grace...I will see you all in glory face to face with Jesus...our great perfect Shepherd. I am not alone. We are the Body of Christ.

This song has been runnning through my mind for three days, but I couldn't remember all the words. During some difficult things this week, all I could remember and have sung to myself over and over is, "Jesus doeth all things well." Now I am singing along to the whole song. It's true. How can we doubt His tender mercy? His grace is real for ever trial. Praise Jesus.

From a tender age of 13 when I learnt the words, 47 years on, I still sing the hymn to remind me where I have come from and holding firm.

I so needed this hymn tonight to remind me that "Jesus doeth all things well."
Thank You Jesus for Your continued interest.

This one of my favorite hymns, blesses me each time I sing it. I was taught the hymn by an uncle of mine some 10 years ago, and it sparks an important memory in my heart and courage to face life challenges.

Was lying in bed a few moments ago, moaning because of my pain, when this song began playing on Family Radio.org. Was taken by the beauty of these words which addressed my situation so well. Instead of giving in to murmuring because of my pain, I should say along with Mrs. Crosby..."For I know, whate’er befall me, Jesus doeth all things well,"
Yes, I know that Jesus is only allowing that which is needful for my completeness in Christ.
