Does Jesus care when my heart is pained
Too deeply for mirth or song,
As the burdens press,
And the cares distress,
And the way grows weary and long?
Too deeply for mirth or song,
As the burdens press,
And the cares distress,
And the way grows weary and long?
O yes, He cares, I know He cares,
His heart is touched with my grief;
When the days are weary,
The long night dreary,
I know my Savior cares.
His heart is touched with my grief;
When the days are weary,
The long night dreary,
I know my Savior cares.

Does Jesus care when my way is dark
With a nameless dread and fear?
As the daylight fades
Into deep night shades,
Does He care enough to be near?
With a nameless dread and fear?
As the daylight fades
Into deep night shades,
Does He care enough to be near?

Does Jesus care when I’ve tried and failed
To resist some temptation strong;
When for my deep grief
There is no relief,
Though my tears flow all the night long?
To resist some temptation strong;
When for my deep grief
There is no relief,
Though my tears flow all the night long?

Does Jesus care when I’ve said “goodbye”
To the dearest on earth to me,
And my sad heart aches
Till it nearly breaks,
Is it aught to Him? Does He see?
To the dearest on earth to me,
And my sad heart aches
Till it nearly breaks,
Is it aught to Him? Does He see?

I have just spent 12 dreary days and weary nights racked with pain for which there was minimal relief. When the Spirit prompted me to search for this song, I found this site and all these encouraging affirmations of God's love from around the world. They have truly comforted and rested my soul. I am starting to improve, physically and emotionally.

A year ago, when on her death bed in hospital, surrounded by family and members of our church, my mom requested that we sing this song together. Today as I sing this song and read the words I am truly touched and reassured.
In my mother's time of pain and grief she knew Our Saviour cared.

Our family lost my brother 9 months ago. He was only 28. This is a hymn that God has brought to my mind twice, since his passing. The first time, it was only days after the tragedy & my focus was the last verse. It was a comforting reminder that He cares when we lose those dearest to us.
Today, when He brought this hymn to my mind, my focus was on the 3rd verse. Wow! He cares --still, even when I fail Him. What a good, loving Father we have!
I was also encouraged to see all these comments from people who've been impacted by this hymn around the world. 🌎

Hallelujah. Many times this song comes to mind when I'm going through my tough times and sing it some time but they day its forcefully came into my spirit, so I decide to Google it. And YES Jesus Christ cares, no matter our struggles God care for us, and He is working behind the scenes for our good. So stay put, I'm encouraging some one as I encourage myself. Trust God to take you out, GOD can't fail. Hallelujah!

Yes He really care at all times. When I am passing through strong temptation, I always have the assurance that my God is closer to me and He cares and always plan good for me in every predicament.
