Woke up at 5. 10am with words going through my mind " Sufficient in Thine arm alone, And our defence is sure ". Then read all the verses and was so blessed and inspired:

I woke up thanking God for who He is and all He created. I stumbled on this verse of the scripture 👇🏽👇🏽

On reflection 2020 has been very trying, turmoiltous and challenging I have been very depressed though I lie tried to convince myself that am not because I know God got me. To God be the glory despite all odds I and my house did not beg for bread and even gave out. I may not know what 2021 holds bit I know God has been my help in ages past and surely he is the God that changeth not and he created 2021. I woke up on New Year’s Day with the words of this hymn sounding in my mind. How appropriate! God is our hope for the year/ years ahead and ‘our eternal home’.

The daily challenges of the past year have had a cumulative effect on many of us leaving many people both weary and wary. We are weary from the upsetting news that filled our screens every day and night for most of the last year. We are wary because we don't know what is ahead of us. But the good news is this, God is still in control.
