I woke this morning,
And I came to Jesus as I was,
Weary and worn and sad.
He found for me a resting place,
And He hath made me glad!
My cry, to the Lord... I am thirsty... fill my cup Lord! Give to me that living water, that I may never thirst again. He reminded me, that I had 'left' my first love!
When I confessed my sin of having 'left' Him, peace flooded my soul
Lord "speak to me", and He led me to this
Hymn, a favourite of mine... then when I prayed this hymn, I was assured that He was speaking to me.
These words have been a solace to my soul countless times in the past... and now in the present... and will in the future... I
