He giveth more grace when the burdens grow greater,
He sendeth more strength when the labors increase,
To added affliction He addeth His mercy,
To multiplied trials, His multiplied peace.
He sendeth more strength when the labors increase,
To added affliction He addeth His mercy,
To multiplied trials, His multiplied peace.

When we have exhausted our store of endurance,
When our strength has failed ere the day is half-done,
When we reach the end of our hoarded resources,
Our Father’s full giving is only begun.
When our strength has failed ere the day is half-done,
When we reach the end of our hoarded resources,
Our Father’s full giving is only begun.

His love has no limit, His grace has no measure,
His power no boundary known unto men,
For out of His infinite riches in Jesus,
He giveth and giveth and giveth again.
His power no boundary known unto men,
For out of His infinite riches in Jesus,
He giveth and giveth and giveth again.

This hymn has been a supply of grace, strength, and encouragement countless times since I first learned of it in the early 1990s. Annie Flint must have had multiple deep experiences of Christ to pen this hymn and hymn 720 as well.

I appreciated this hymn even more today. This morning the Lord reminded me of this hymn, and I was at peace with my burdens.
Lord, grant me more grace today!

How enlightening to the grace and mercy of the Lord! The lyrics here give comfort as the world closes in around us, and gives us direction as to where our trust and confidence lie. Exposing our humble position, we see that we can fully rely and depend on our Lord during all sufferings and for eternity. What a blessing!

"He giveth and giveth and giveth again." How exceedingly loving, gracious and giving is our Heavenly Father and our Lord Jesus who gave all including His life so that we may have life abundant - not just in this life but even much more in the life after. I thank God with all my heart.
May this hymn continue to speak to God's children and bring assurance and songs of praise to God in their hearts. Amen.

My dad taught us this hymn when we were young. I woke up this morning with the hymn on my heart. It brings back memories.

I love the encouraging message of this song! It's so simple and beautiful. I see why there are so many loving comments of appreciation for Annie Johnson Flint. I would greatly appreciate knowing whether Miss Annie Johnson Flint has ANY living relatives. I would like to ask a couple questions regarding 2 poems in particular.
