Through all the changing scenes of life

E714
1
Through all the changing scenes of life,
  In trouble and in joy,
The praises of my God shall still
  My heart and tongue employ.
2
Oh, magnify the Lord with me,
  With me exalt His name;
When in distress to Him I called,
  He to my rescue came.
3
The hosts of God encamp around
  The dwellings of the just;
Deliverance He affords to all
  Who on His succor trust.
4
Oh, make but trial of His love,
  Experience will decide
How blest they are, and only they,
  Who in His truth confide.
5
Fear Him, ye saints, and you will then
  Have nothing else to fear;
Make you His service your delight,
  Your wants shall be His care.

I visited my former workplace and I saw new faces. I reflected on my time there and this hymn came to mind.

I love the powerful message. Been singing this hymn in the bus now. God has been with me through all the seasons in my life. He is the sovereign Lord.

We sang this hymn at a service this morning and the words resonated so deeply with me.

It tells of the great assurance of our God.

He is faithful and constantly with us. Everything around us may change but God remains the only constant in our lives. He never changes and His grace is always sufficient in every circumstance we may find ourselves.

Faithful Father He is.

I love this powerful hymn and the wording. It's really inspirational!!!

It reminds me of Job and his unflinching Loyalty, Trust and faith in God.

This encourages me that in all situations God is with me and I should not be discouraged or fear, I only have to trust Him.

This is one of my father's favorite and I love it as well because it's very powerful.

I have proved the words in this hymn to be very true in these last ten years, and realise that God’s Angels have encamped around me. In the many situations I have found myself in, and although not understanding why certain things have happened the way they have thank God I have not lost my love for Him, remember He is Sovereign and to reach that goal He has set before us we have to keep trusting Him through the storms, just remember the God of the mountain, is also the God of the valley too.

This hymn makes me remember my grandma and my parents.

It makes me feel there are still here with me.

And I know the good Lord will keep and protect their soul.
