1
Be not dismayed whate’er betide,
  God will take care of you!
Beneath His wings of love abide,
  God will take care of you!

God will take care of you,
Through every day o’er all the way;
He will take care of you;
  God will take care of you!
2
Through days of toil when heart doth fail,
  God will take care of you!
When dangers fierce your path assail,
  God will take care of you!
3
All you may need He will provide,
  God will take care of you!
Trust Him, and you will be satisfied,
  God will take care of you!
4
Lonely and sad, from friends apart,
  God will take care of you!
He will give peace to your aching heart,
  God will take care of you!
5
No matter what may be the test,
  God will take care of you!
Lean, weary one, upon His breast,
  God will take care of you!

It is reassuring to know, God will take care of us, God will take care of us, God will take care of us. Amen.

This song has always encouraged me. While it doesn't mean God will keep us from hard situations, He proves Himself faithful in keeping us while in hard situations. And even those hard experiences draw us close to Him, refining our characters and preparing us for Eternity. All things truly do work together for us for good. And there is no tragedy death or sickness that can seperate us from His love. Be encouraged for soon like Stephen we'll see the Son of Man on the right hand of God and spend with Him all of eternity!

My husband was blessed with the most angelic voice. I heard him sing this many times in service at home on the road on our trips now when I am down in my old age missing many things of past some how this song will come on my BBN radio no matter who is singing I see and hear only his comforting voice I hear may be superstition to some but it is the most up lifting and most God glorying song.

I was at my lowest point in my life, wishing my life would end. No one to talk to and not hearing a word from God. I was all cried out and had no more voice to pray, and then this song came to me out of nowhere. It was a song that was sung in church when I was a little girl. I had not heard it for over 60 years and it is not a song we now sing in church, yet there it was in my head as clear as clear could be. God gave me this song to comfort me. It was His way of speaking to me. It touches every aspect of my life. Now when I am feeling down or wondering if God hears my prayers. I play this song on my phone and it gives me blessed assurances that Jesus is mine. AMEN... AMEN... AND AMEN

I learned this in Sunday school 70 years ago. Throughout the ups and downs of life, I always have felt it applies to me.

But what of people who have believed it and, for instance, ended in the gas ovens at Auschwitz... I doubt that their last thoughts were... "God is taking care of me"...

Ran across this during my Abiding Time this morning. Takes me back 70 years to my childhood and realized what a rich heritage I've had with these gems. This hymn spoke columns to me this morning. Out problem is not sin behaviors. It is the state of independence.

This beautiful hymn is my life story. God has taken care of me in every trial and every danger in life--scarcity of money, anxiety, stress, suicidal thoughts, illnesses, adjusting to a new country, job loss--everything!
