What a song to behold, in all its phase it reminded us of the sterling promises of God, the unfailing promises of God. When troubles blows, when tragedy strikes, when life on the raging sea, the promise of God is so sure and ever comforting. Right now this song is comforting my heart through the challenges I went through yesterday. I will never forget His promises for my life.

This is one of the songs that made me a man. I remember when the fear of getting married overwhelmed me, in the night time God reminded me about this song and I was filled with His courage. The song was used as our recessional hymn on our wedding day. And till today, HE never failed us. Praise the LORD.

It reminds us of the unchangeableness of our good God and His love for us. I also like the part about the Spirit's Sword. We need to be constituted with the Word to such an extent that we can stand against the enemy by God's word.
