What a friend indeed we have in Jesus, He actually knows our weakness and He will answer us if we take it to the Lord in prayer. It has work for me it can also work for you, take that matter to Him.

Praise the Lord!! My very best friend had been constant on my mind, so I call her. She explained her trouble's, and the Holy Spirit pinned the words of this song on my heart. I explained to her that the mystery behind her problem's rest within this Hymn. I also told her, that the enemy would come quickly, to try to discourage her to not talk to me anymore, because I know he hates me, nevertheless, I instructed her to tell Satan to get Thee Behind, and praise God in advance for what He has already done. Amen.

Singing this hymn this morning, I feel so happy, so free. This is the first time the words of the hymn has meant so much to me. We really still carry unnecessary pain and forfeit peace in our lives just because we haven't really relied on God totally. We carry our issues to God but in the same strength we also want to find solutions ourselves to those same issues we carried to God thereby causing ourselves needless heart ache and restlessness.

I also read my daily bread today and remembered this song. It is a reminder of the love God has for us and all the gifts He gives to us that we take for granted or don't even remember we have. We don't have to carry our burdens , our pains, our sins. We just have to come to Jesus's feet and lay them before Him and pray with Him and talk to Him. His love is the healing our souls need.

I woke up this morning after reading my daily devotion, this song came to my mind. It had been a long time since I had song it. So I began singing and praising God for being my friend. I had a really bad headache when I got up this morning and felt the need to just sing and praise God through it. Thank You Lord Jesus Christ for being my friend whom I can take everything to Him in prayer. I know He loves me and will never leave or forsake.
