I must tell Jesus all of my trials

1
I must tell Jesus all of my trials;
I cannot bear these burdens alone;
In my distress He kindly will help me;
He ever loves and cares for His own.

I must tell Jesus! I must tell Jesus!
I cannot bear my burdens alone;
I must tell Jesus! I must tell Jesus!
  Jesus can help me, Jesus alone.
2
I must tell Jesus all of my troubles;
He is a kind, compassionate Friend;
If I but ask Him, He will deliver,
And in my griefs with me He will blend.
3
Tempted and tried I need a great Savior,
One who can help my burdens to bear;
I must tell Jesus, I must tell Jesus;
He all my cares and sorrows will share,
4
O how the world to evil allures me!
O how my heart is tempted to sin!
I must tell Jesus; He will enable
Over the world the vic’try to win.

Perfect hymn

In my dream before my father could die came to me and said son tell your troubles to Jesus you will be relieved.

And we joined in this hymn singing every stanzas little did I know that my father had informed the rest of the family to sing this hymn to send him off I ended up breaking because it was the same hymn in the dream. The dream got me when I was far at my work place yet father was at home at night as I reported on duty a call from my niece that father is gone made me recall this very hymn.

Thank you for this hymn

It is good to talk to the Lord. It is even more helpful when he speaks to us. I feel like the Lord spoke to me in this song. “And in my griefs with me he will blend” sometimes when we are going through a tough situation, all we can see is the situation (tunnel vision) but as we talk to our dear Lord he “blends” himself with us through our pouring ourselves out to him. His feeling becomes our feeling and his thought becomes our thought and although we are still in our grief somehow through our coming to the Lord and telling Him all, He is more real and our grief is less. “I must tell Jesus, he will enable, over the world the victory to win”

I must tell JESUS

Revised version:

1. I must tell Jesus all of my trials;

I cannot bear these burdens alone;

In distress, He alone can assist me;

Wipe my tears, sympathize with His own.

Chorus:

I must tell Jesus! I must tell Jesus!

Pour out my heart to Jesus alone;

I must tell Jesus! I must tell Jesus!

He knows, He comforts—Jesus alone.

2. I must tell Jesus all of my troubles;

I cannot bear my burdens alone;

My affairs, only Jesus can shoulder;

Comfort and soothe me—Jesus alone.

3. I must tell Jesus all my shortcomings;

I cannot face my worries alone;

I taste His riches, my need supplying,

More than sufficient—Jesus alone.

4. I must tell Jesus all of my weakness;

I can't o'ercome flesh, lust, on my own;

From law of sin, from all of my bondage,

He can release me—Jesus alone.

5. I must tell Jesus all my temptations;

I can't withstand the tempter alone.

In a like manner Jesus was tempted;

Jesus can rescue—Jesus alone.
