This song says it all. It's beauty points the way to our Redeemer and shouts out His love for a dying world. It is the message and the Lord of the cross that I cherish rather than the actual cross itself but the cross is the expression used to transport that message...How great that love!!

I love this beautiful old hymn... memories of my beloved grandmother are brought back to me. I remember her sitting at her piano playing many lovely pieces of music whenever I visited. This hymn was played most often as it was her favourite. Thank you for a poignant memory.
