I woke up with song in my spirit this morning, and I hear God saying we will never know the extent of His love, His favour and the joy He bestows until we learn to walk with Him in complete obedience. To be completely devoted to Him, no matter what!
A man I so deeply respect for His knowledge of God once said, it's not that I have had any unusual revelation but one thing I learn early in my walk with God is to obey Him in small dealings of the day.
Lord, help me to grow more and more in this life of obedience.

This morning as I am humming this hymn the Lord said sing it! How enjoyable. So many times I put my own efforts into things but the Lord says take a chill pill. If He can provide food to the birds how about us as humans? Praise our Lord we can always come back to Him.. Trust in Him for He know all that we need.

just before waking while dreaming the words of Trust and Obey were spoken and I was looking for them in a hymn book then woke up.
First I looked in a few hymn books I have sometime after waking, but couldn't find the words, as are the first line of the chorus, and the first line of the hymn is "When we walk with the Lord" words I am not familiar with so I typed in Google and Trust and Obey, and came across this hymn. Woke up suddenly at 0130 am to do my devotional Psalms 73, 1-28 at the conclusion of reading the scriptures with what my family is going through at the moment this song came into my heart I started humming the song but my spirit compelled me to sing it aloud hence I Google it, found the lyrics, sang it aloud and my soul was blessed, and refreshed....
