This very season of our lives, my faith and that of my family is been going through trials and temptations. I thank God that says He is the ALMIGHTY, for in the past days l wake up with this song Trust and Obey along with My Faith Is Built On Nothing Else in my spirit and l sing it out aloud to my body to hear and conform to. I thank God that we are still holding forth and strong in God till our destiny is fulfilled. The songs have been a great source of encouragement. Praise be to God our Creator.

My parents were medical misionaries to the DYAK and IBAN people of North Borneo now called SABAH, MALAYSIA. At VESPERS in the Long-houses where we lived father taught us this hymn. We love it and learned the songs quickly. Our parents taught us well to Trust and Obey in our Lord. We sang this song riding our buffalo on our way to church.
