This beautiful Easter morning, I woke up singing this song. I haven't heard it since Sunday School back in the day. How true a song brings the message of Jesus Christ to the world. Thank you for this website. Praise God for wonderful hymns like this.

He lives! Rejoice! I say again He lives! Rejoice! When I sing it I immediately am empowered! The Holy Spirit is fanned, the flame rekindled, and my heart lifted! Today I sing Hallelujah to Jesus Christ THE KING! And He always will be!

This hymn was instrumental in my seeking to know the Saviour for myself in my last years at high school. That was 70years ago. The words for me are just as true today on this Easter Day.

I have just woken on this Easter Sunday with this song resignating my praise to the risen Lord...to sing it along with the piano was an absolute blessing to me this morning...an oldy but the words could not be truer today...how wonderful that the message sent to us thru Jesus Christ, the Son of God still as true as the day the stone was rolled away...Easter blessings to whom ever reads.

Was lying in bed and could not get frustrations of my work out of my mind and angrily asked God to clear my mind. He immediately brought this hymn from my childhood (I am 63) to my mind. What an answer to my prayer. We serve a risen savior not this world. What an amazing God we serve.
