He’s in the world today.
I know that He is living,
Whatever men may say.
I see His hand of mercy;
I hear His voice of cheer;
And just the time I need Him
He’s always near.
He walks with me and talks with me along life’s narrow way.
He lives, He lives, salvation to impart!
You ask me how I know He lives?
He lives within my heart.
I see His loving care,
And though my heart grows weary,
I never will despair;
I know that He is leading,
Through all the stormy blast;
The day of His appearing
Will come at last.
Lift up your voice and sing
Eternal hallelujahs
To Jesus Christ the King!
The Hope of all who seek Him,
The Help of all who find,
None other is so loving,
So good and kind.

I grew up with so many beautiful hymns, and this is an absolute favorite of mine. My father had a beautiful voice, and he led the singing at our little church. I credit him with giving me such an appreciation for these hymns. I am now 75 years old and hymns such as this make me feel so close to God, and I feel His presence when I hear them. I can still hear my father singing these wonderful old hymns. One Sunday morning several years ago I woke up with this hymn in my mind. When I went to church that morning, it was one of the hymns we sang. Thank you to God, and to my earthly father for instilling the love of such music in my heart.

So glad to find the lyrics to this song. I sang this with my momma and grandpa at church as a child. It has come to my mind so many times through the years and touches my heart.

Yes, Yes, He lives, He lives, Christ Jesus lives today. Yes, he walks with me and talks with me along life's narrow way—his Grace and Mercy as well as Salvation to part. I want the world to know just how special apart Christ Jesus is in the joy that's down in my heart. I love the Lord, for He first loved me; I thank him for the many blessings that man cannot see. I thank him for giving his only begotten son, Christ Jesus, Christ Jesus, the One and Only one Amen.

Holy Spirit brought this song to mind while pondering all the chaos, destruction, and deceit going on in our world today. It can weigh heavy on my soul but... He lives.. whatever men may say... He lives within my heart! Thank you Lord Jesus 😊💞

Holy Spirit put this on my mind as I was waking up. We sang this in our church growing up. I have not thought of it since. I just turned 72. Remembered verse 1 and chorus. I was blessed to find this online.
My wife and I have been sick. This was a great encouragement. As I sang it I cold feel the presence and joy of Holy Spirit.
A stormy blast came to me yesterday on Easter day but today came this song to lift me up and bring joy to my heart the hope

The Holy Spirit brought this song to my memory today. I had not heard this song since I was a teenager. I really needed to sing all 3 stanzas. What JOY and warmth that fills me. Thank you LORD. Thank you HOLY SPIRIT. I serve a risen Savior!!!!

So thankful we serve and know and can depend and trust Him through the storms-He only is our Savior-no man on earth. Heb. 1-5

This was the last hymn I sang with my grandmother at church. She passed long ago but this some and every word is etched in my memory. I remember the day vividly because we shared a glance as we sang the hymn and both gave a little smile. It was this connection that caused me to have an overwhelming feeling after her funeral service. I went to the pastor with a hymnal and asked him to please copy the page so I could place it in her casket. I did, and in doing so, I got both closure of her passing and knowing she was going to a better place. I still wake up with this hymn in my head from time to time and it brings me back to that glancing smile we shared.
