I learnt this sweet song when I was a little girl, let me say around 14 years old. Any time I sing this song, I imagine myself resting my head on the Lord's shoulder making a promise to serve Him until the end. Dear Lord, Pls held me to keep this promised. Amen.

I learnt the song when I was at high school, in the 1990s, it was amongst the favourite songs of my school head but as I matured I realised it carried a strong message to soldier on in Christianity despite the spiritual battles which we face as Christians.
