All my life long I had panted

NT325
1
All my life long I had panted
For a draught from some cool spring,
That I hoped would quench the burning
Of the thirst I felt within.

Hallelujah! I have found Him
Whom my soul so long has craved!
Jesus satisfies my longings;
Through His life I now am saved.
2
Feeding on the husks around me,
Till my strength was almost gone,
Longed my soul for something better,
  Only still to hunger on.
3
Poor I was, and sought for riches,
  Something that would satisfy,
But the dust I gathered round me
Only mocked my soul's sad cry.
4
Well of water, ever springing,
Bread of life, so rich and free,
Untold wealth that never faileth,
  My Redeemer is to me.

I Have Found Him!

Has had been a really for me from Wednesday, July 1973 when He told me to "Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness."

It was scary! I cried out! And said "Hear yah, Whe- meh-a-mi?" Why me?

The truth is, I was desperately seeking for inner peace and He spoke the solution. I agreed within 3 days to surrendered to His request. And it's the best discission I had ever made.

I too can identify with the words—searching for things that never could satisfy my soul, until that day I met Him, face to face, I’ve never been the same again.

I hadn't heard this song until I was asked to play it at a wedding last year in Austin. Precious One, hallelujah I found Him.
