Dear Lord, to me,
As Thou didst break the loaves
Beside the sea;
Beyond the sacred page
I seek Thee, Lord;
My spirit pants for Thee,
O Living Word.
O Lord, to me,
Thy holy Word the truth
That saveth me;
Give me to eat and live
With Thee above;
Teach me to love Thy truth,
For Thou art Love.
Now unto me,
That He may touch my eyes,
And make me see;
Show me the truth concealed
Within Thy Word,
And in Thy Book revealed
I see the Lord.
To me, to me,
As Thou didst bless the bread
By Galilee;
Then shall all bondage cease,
All fetters fall,
And I shall find my peace,
My All in all.

Oh, send Thy Spirit, Lord,
Now unto me,
That He may touch my eyes,
And make me see;
Show me the truth concealed
Within Thy Word,
And in Thy Book revealed
I see the Lord.

I was just sitting in the living room at about past 11 on, unable to pray, so weighed down, and out of nowhere the lyrics of what I got to know was the 3rd stanza just started playing in my spirit. It's been almost 40years since I last heard and sang this song, so Ikeyed in the "oh send thy spirit Lord" on google, and as I read and sang this powerful anointed hymn over and over again with tears pouring down my eyes I was so overwhelmed by the presence of the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord ! What a powerful and anointed hymn

For my quite time I read and reflected on John 14. As I meditated on the promise of the Comforter in verse 26 this song came in my Spirit. It's so awesome, to God be the glory.

This tune was on my mind as I awoke at 1:30am to attend to my aging mother. I was so happy to find it here even as only a few words came to mind.
Praise Jesus our Living Bread!
