The Spirit of God brought this beautiful hymn to me this morning, and I thank God for this hymn is to me an assurance that I am the Lord's and He is mine. I never grew up with my father. Now I do understand what it means to have a father as God has been the utmost Father to me. He made provision for my sins to be erased long before I was born so that I could be reconciled to Him. Today the song came to my mind and later on in the day a total stranger came up to me and sang it. My heart is no longer divided but at peace, total rest, knowing that I am His and He is mine.
