I have been led in prayer to sing this song. It's 4:00am I'm the morning. The Lord has a way of reminding us that He is always watching, all we have to do is keep the Faith. The showers are coming. Praise Jesus! The Lord has been laying on my heart to pray that God would send showers of blessings on us. That he would cleanse the earth of the evil that has become so evident all around us. As my city has been so dangerously dry and windy these past 2 months, this prayer is literal and spiritual. God just sent a rain cloud directly over my neighborhood along with a good soaking rain for about 20 minutes as my pup and I sat on the back porch singing Showers Of Blessing. Thank you God for raising me up in churches that sang hymns like these that were ingrained into my memory so that the Holy Spirit can bring them back as He pleases. God is good! Now please send showers of blessing all over the earth that everyone might know what a loving God we serve!
