After reading and wrestling with the challenging verses in Exodus 12, I was reminded if this hymn which I sang as my statement of faith. So grateful that I could find the lyrics.

I was reading Psalms 103:15 :which says " our days on earth are like the grass that withereth ..." when this hymn popped up in my head. So l started singing it. And O what delight it brings to my soul.
Havent heard it in years.

He ascended into Heaven where He sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty - from thence shall He come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of the saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body and the life everlasting.
There is no God but the One True God, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and there isn't another one. Cheat yourself of this truth and you decide your own unworthiness of eternal life. Hell is a real bad place, if you die in your sins and trespasses, having not accepted Christ as your personal Saviour, that is where you will go, then on to the Lake of Fire prepared for the devil and his angels where you will burn forever. With Jesus you have forgiveness and peace; without Him you have unimaginable torment. Repent of your wickedness and turn to the LORD. He is quick to forgive and quick to heal. Never mention the devil on a Christian website again unless you are prepared to join him in the Lake of Fire, where there is no reprieve. That was inappropriate.
