Like the woman at the well, I was seeking
For things that could not satisfy.
And then I heard my Savior speaking—
“Draw from My well that never shall run dry.”
For things that could not satisfy.
And then I heard my Savior speaking—
“Draw from My well that never shall run dry.”
Fill my cup, Lord;
I lift it up Lord;
Come and quench this thirsting of my soul.
Bread of Heaven, feed me till I want no more.
Fill my cup, fill it up and make me whole.
I lift it up Lord;
Come and quench this thirsting of my soul.
Bread of Heaven, feed me till I want no more.
Fill my cup, fill it up and make me whole.

There are millions in this world who are seeking
For pleasures earthly goods afford.
But none can match the wondrous treasure
That I find in Jesus Christ my Lord.
For pleasures earthly goods afford.
But none can match the wondrous treasure
That I find in Jesus Christ my Lord.

So my brother if the things that this world gives you
Leave hungers that won’t pass away,
My blessed Lord will come and save you
If you kneel to Him and humbly pray—
Leave hungers that won’t pass away,
My blessed Lord will come and save you
If you kneel to Him and humbly pray—

In my devotional time this morning, I found myself humming this old song. When it first came out, my mom and dad were pastors of a little church, in a little town. And I was a little girl. My mom passed away this past February. I remember her coming home from a ladies retreat singing this song. It’s a wonderful memory and she was an awesome mom. God is so good. 🌹

" Fill My Cup Lord" this is how to unplug from the numerous voices of the social media and hear from our maker. Thank you.

I, like the woman before my comment wrote, this song/lyrics has been so important, and still resonates in my soul. Fill my cup, Lord. Thank you for renewing the words for my heart again.

Just rewatched the “I am He” episode of the Chosen. Came to this site to remind me of the words to this hymn. Thank you Jesus for the living water only you can provide.
