Seek ye first

Cs211 D6003 NS120
1
Seek ye first the kingdom of God
And His righteousness;
And all these things shall be added unto you.
Hallelu, Hallelujah!
2
Ask, and it shall be given unto you;
Seek, and you shall find.
Knock, and it shall be opened unto you.
Hallelu, Hallelujah!
3
Man shall not live by bread alone,
But by every word
That proceeds out from the mouth of God.
Hallelu, Hallelujah!

Wow! Blessed be the name of the Lord. Indeed we ought to seek God daily for the more we seek Him, the more we shall find Him and the more we find Him, the more we love Him. May we hunger for more of Him.

My wee kids love it when I sing these old songs to them. Thanks for listing them to fill in the gaps in my memory!

To me this hymn is our roadmap for living every day. Start every day seeking God and He will direct our path every step throughout each day. Ask and it will be given. Seek and you will find. Knock and the door will be opened. Everything we need to do His work He will give us. We just need to ask. Praise God for His many blessings and may we daily share those blessings with others.

Nice Song. I learn a lot especially trusting the Lord. Need to seek Him first that God is the most and first priority of all things. I and if you do that, All Things and blessing of your life are followed by God's will.Tthanks Pastor Dougals Sisson from Mt. Calvary Baptist Church.. for Guiding us on how to be faithful to our Lord Jesus Christ. And Now I am a Saved person and my family.
