Until He comes again

NS106
1
Until He comes again,
I’ll watch and wait and call on Him
I’ll pray that by His life and power,
I’ll overcome in every hour.
2
Until He comes again,
His blood will cleanse me of my sin
His word will sanctify within,
And make me wholly unto Him.

(Bro.) He died to be life to me—
         From death I’m free.
(Sis.) He rose and as Spirit He
         Now lives in me.
(Bro.) In splendor and in glory
         Like Him I’ll be.
3
Until He comes again,
My soul-life I’ll give up for Him.
No worldly pleasure can compare
To what my Savior has to share.
4
And when He comes again,
All saints built up and one in Him.
His Body, Bride, and Counterpart,
Eternal pleasure of His heart.

(Sis.) Lord, gain Your kingdom in me,
         I long to be...
(Bro.) One with my Savior and King,
         Eternally.
(Sis.) Oh, what a joy it will be
         Your face to see.

I was so touched with this verse this morning while pray reading:

Who also said, Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into heaven? This Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you beheld going into heaven.

I don't see a credit for who the hymn was written by. It's beautiful!

It is good to know that there are people out there who are trully inspired by the Holy Spirit hence able to write such wonderful and fullfilling songs in the 21st century. I myself I am forever moved by thios. I am hence encouraged from now henceforth to also consider todays noble song writers and not linger only on the old hymn writers. Amin to God who inspired the writer and composer of this and many other wonderful songs. Amin.

This song is very good. I like it very much. It tells me that we should pursue the Lord "until He comes again." Though we may sin" country="His blood will cleanse us. He died and rose to live in us, and His life is within us. We should all wait, watch, and call on Him "until He comes again." I truly enjoy listening to this song. Amen!
