There’s not a Friend like the lowly Jesus

English992

There’s not a Friend like the lowly Jesus:
No, not one! no, not one!
None else could heal all our souls’ diseases:
No, not one! no, not one!

Jesus knows all about our struggles;
He will guide ’til the day is done:
There’s not a Friend like the lowly Jesus:
No, not one! no, not one!

No friend like Him is so high and holy,
No, not one! no, not one!
And yet no friend is so meek and lowly,
No, not one! no, not one!

There’s not an hour that He is not near us,
No, not one! no, not one!
No night so dark, but His love can cheer us,
No, not one! no, not one!

Did ever saint find this Friend forsake him?
No, not one! no, not one!
Or sinner find that He would not take him?
No, not one! no, not one!

Was e’er a gift like the Savior given?
No, not one! no, not one!
Will He refuse us the bliss of heaven?
No, not one! no, not one!

Jesus is a true friend who never deserts his people, especially at the hour of need. The only friend who never changes, he's same today tomorrow and forever!!

Ther is not a friend like the lowly Jesus, 'He has found me". I am glad that the Holy Spirit brought this song back to mind, because I haven't sang it in a long time.

I’m on an official assignment in this city and woke up to pray. While singing several choruses of praise, this song just crept into my heart and I began singing it, because I already knew it well. But to get all the stanzas well, I made a search for the song. I was blessed by the song again- every line. Glad to be reminded that there’s not an hour that He is not near us. I was definitely consumed by the reassurance that JESUS KNOWS ALL ABOUT OUR STRUGGLES and JE WILL GUIDE TILL THE DAY IS DONE.

I woke up this morning, the weight of yesterday heavily resting upon my shoulders. While having my quiet time, I just felt a nudge to use hymns and in my search for hymns I found this one.

Ohhh what a friend I have in Jesus. One who consoles, who is willing to hear about our struggles and even help us out in the midst of the storm. Jesus my Best friend. I love you so much Jesus

I got up about 3:15am and this song was already singing in my spirit man, so I searched for it and found it here. Thanks you Jesus.

Sometimes I will be singing unconsciously, and suddenly come to reason it, just to realise that it comes to consult me . And this can not be coincidence but the doing of the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord Jesus
