We must keep on remembering God in Praise even when we are sad, and not only when we are happy (vs 1)
In distress, we must magnify Him (vs 2)
We must be conscious that God is always there to deliver us (vs 3)
Testing from His love is germane. Experience will tell how blest one is. (vs 4)
All he wants is for us to FEAR HIM and there is NO SHAKING (vs 5)
This hymn is one of my favourites.

I sang out the 2nd stanza of this hymn from my sleep this morning. I've always loved this hymn. The 5th stanza has always been a reassurance and God's unconditional promise for me.
God is closer to us than we can ever imagine if ONLY we are quiet and wait enough we WILL hear His voice.
