God in the Son to be enjoyed by us;
It is not only something done or giv’n,
But God Himself, our portion glorious.
Him may receive, experience ourself;
This is the grace which we receive of God,
Which comes thru Christ and which is Christ Himself.
’Twas only God in Christ he counted grace;
’Tis by this grace—the Lord experienced—
That he surpassed the others in the race.
Which with His all-sufficiency doth fill;
It is this grace which in our spirit is,
There energizing, working out God’s will.
Is what we need and must experience;
Lord, may we know this grace and by it live,
Thyself increasingly as grace to sense.

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your(our) spirit! (Gal. 6:18)
The Lord be with your(our) spirit. Grace be with you(us)! (2 Tim 4:22)
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your(our) spirit. (Phil. 4:23; Philem. 1:25)
The grace of Jesus Christ is the bountiful supply of the Triune God (who is embodied in the Son and realized as the life-giving Spirit) enjoyed by us through the exercise of our human, regenerated spirit.
Grace is God in Christ as our supply and enjoyment, conveyed to us and realized through the bountiful supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ (Phil. 1:19).
This grace, which is in the eternal & indestructible life, is nothing less than Christ, the Son of God, who is the very embodiment of the divine life, dwelling and living in our spirit. We need to exercise our spirit day by day to enjoy the riches of this Christ (Eph. 3:8) as our sufficient grace (2 Cor. 12:9).

This grace, which is the living Christ Himself,
Is what we need and must experience;
Lord, may we know this grace and by it live,
Thyself increasingly as grace to sense.

God is incarnate in the flesh that we
Him may receive, experience ourself;

It is this grace-Christ as our inward strength-
Which with His all-sufficiency doth fill;
It is this grace which in our spirit is,
There energizing, working out God’s will

This is a very blest hymn for us. We sing it often. Oh what grace the Lord has shown us. My wife and I have recently started a house group in the Church life and a brother and his wife have come out from London to fellowship with us. Those evenings were beautiful. So far we have no one in our area but keep putting out the tract the mystery of human life. May the Lord grace those who read it.
