It's one of the songs I love most, it's very heart touchy, I first heard it in my secondary school days when we would sing it on the assembly ground, and so, since then I‘ve been singing it prayerfully especially no 3 "oh, let me hear thee speaking in accents clear and still....." I want God to be speaking to me to guide, instruct n direct me in life. Blessed be the Name of my Lord Jesus!

The first time I have an encounter with this hymn was in 2013 in Ebonyi. I got broken, and every time I sing or hear the song, it just brings me into aligning to the leading of the Lord....
I just want to follow the Lord till the end.
It also a song of awareness and surrender because I get to see the enemy within...
