1
All to Jesus I surrender,
All to Him I freely give;
I will ever love and trust Him,
In His presence daily live.

I surrender all,
  I surrender all.
All to Thee, my blessed Savior,
    I surrender all.
2
All to Jesus I surrender,
Humbly at His feet I bow,
Worldly pleasures all forsaken;
Take me, Jesus, take me now.
3
All to Jesus I surrender,
Make me, Savior, wholly Thine;
Let me feel Thy Holy Spirit,
Truly know that Thou art mine.
4
All to Jesus I surrender,
Lord, I give myself to Thee;
Fill me with Thy love and power,
Let Thy blessing fall on me.
5
All to Jesus I surrender,
Now I feel the sacred flame.
Oh, the joy of full salvation!
Glory, glory to His name!

Surrendering all to JESUS made us whole in the sight of GOD. For HE can only commune with us when our lives are under HIS authority. Glory be to God!!!

As a child I sang this song but it was just a song. When I became a born again Christian it became a real prayer to give everything. I do not own myself. Now I see what the song is about. That apart from Christ I can do nothing. To the praise of His Glory. Thanks for posting lyrics that I can sing anywhere anytime.

When I was a young born again Christian, I used to sing this hymn with all my vocal being. Looking at it just now, I am reminded of the proverb 'pay your vows unto the Lord (Proverbs).

I have to be careful in writing this, but how often do I really mean the words of hymns, choruses when I seek to worship the Lord? Especially when the above proverb is born in mind? Hebrews tells us it is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

But, praise God! John 1 verse 9 tells us He will forgive our sin when we genuinely confess our sin. Jesus alone is the one mediator between God and man ( 1 Timothy), and it is to the Lord Jesus and not a human being, that we should confess our sins for spiritual forgiveness, including singing worship hymns that are not meant with all our heart.

We can surrender all to Jesus when we repent and believe the gospel and thus become born again Christians. At the moment of being born again we maybe surrender all, but subsequent fighting between the old nature and the new nature ( Romans 7) shows us we no longer surrender all to God.
