1
Amazing grace! how sweet the sound,
  That saved a wretch; like me!
I once was lost, but now am found,
  Was blind, but now I see.
2
’Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,
  And grace my fears relieved;
How precious did that grace appear
  The hour I first believed!
3
The Lord hath promised good to me,
  His word my hope secures;
He will my shield and portion be
  As long as life endures.
4
When we’ve been there ten thousand years,
  Bright shining as the sun,
We’ve no less days to sing God’s praise
  Than when we first begun.

Through many dangers, toils, and snares I have already come. Twas grace that brought me safe thus far and grace will lead me home.

Hope this is the verse you were seeking!

I am having trouble finding the ACTUAL 3rd verse. It is different at my church. But everything else is perfect.

Blessed is the Lord who will delivered us from evil. Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Peace be with you brothers and sisters of Christ! Sing praises of His name!

Thank God salvation is by grace. If not for the sacrifice of Jesus none would be there on that beautiful eternal morning. Salvation is of the Lord. To God be the glory!

Beautiful song. Keep humming the tune always. Learnt the meaning and history behind only today, thanks to all. God bless all.

We are familiar with the hymn "Amazing Grace." Although this is a good hymn, it does not speak of the Triune God as our portion for our enjoyment. When this hymn was written, the experiential knowledge of God among the Lord's people had not come to this point. Even as recent as fifty years ago, Christians did not have the understanding of grace as the Triune God experienced and enjoyed by us. But standing on the shoulders of those who have gone before us, we have come to know that grace is far more than merely unmerited favor. Grace is the Triune God—the Father, the Son, and the Spirit—processed for our experience and enjoyment.
