Amazing grace! how sweet the sound,
That saved a wretch; like me!
I once was lost, but now am found,
Was blind, but now I see.
That saved a wretch; like me!
I once was lost, but now am found,
Was blind, but now I see.

’Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,
And grace my fears relieved;
How precious did that grace appear
The hour I first believed!
And grace my fears relieved;
How precious did that grace appear
The hour I first believed!

The Lord hath promised good to me,
His word my hope secures;
He will my shield and portion be
As long as life endures.
His word my hope secures;
He will my shield and portion be
As long as life endures.

When we’ve been there ten thousand years,
Bright shining as the sun,
We’ve no less days to sing God’s praise
Than when we first begun.
Bright shining as the sun,
We’ve no less days to sing God’s praise
Than when we first begun.

I'm just an aerospace engineering student struggling to keep up and scared but seeing all these comments on this niche corner of the internet, knowing from them that my life won't be over even if I don't make it. God is good, hallelujah

How beautiful it is to remember 35 years ago when the Lord saved me from eternal damnation, I was still doubting, and how He found me. Such beautiful hymns that helped me grow in faith. Thank you Heavenly Father.

The hymn remind me of a brother in church here in Lusaka who loves it so much and he had gone blind due to diabetes. The Lord later restored his sight and he still loves this song.
He sings during Sabbath worship and it reminds us all of the endless love of God.

We had a great time listening to this ever-inspiring and spirit-filled song. Now, my 7-year-old daughter can sing it as well.
