1
My hope is built on nothing less
Than Jesus Christ, my righteousness;
I dare not trust the sweetest frame,
But wholly lean on Jesus’ name.
Than Jesus Christ, my righteousness;
I dare not trust the sweetest frame,
But wholly lean on Jesus’ name.
On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand;
All other ground is sinking sand,
All other ground is sinking sand.
All other ground is sinking sand,
All other ground is sinking sand.
2
When darkness veils His lovely face,
I rest on His unchanging grace;
In every high and stormy gale,
My anchor holds within the veil.
I rest on His unchanging grace;
In every high and stormy gale,
My anchor holds within the veil.
3
His oath, His covenant, His blood,
Support me in the whelming flood;
When all around my soul gives way,
He then is all my hope and stay.
Support me in the whelming flood;
When all around my soul gives way,
He then is all my hope and stay.
4
When He shall come with trumpet sound,
Oh, may I then in Him be found;
In Him, my righteousness, alone,
Faultless to stand before the throne.
Oh, may I then in Him be found;
In Him, my righteousness, alone,
Faultless to stand before the throne.

I thought I got solution to certain issues I've been praying about but got back to square0 so while praying now this song popped up in my spirit so I googled it to sing because this is where I am now solely leaning on Jesus to make a way for me.

Oh what a strong and powerful profession of our faith, boldly communicating and expressing that which is reserved and obtained for us by Jesus Christ our savior.

I lost my mum about a week ago 22nd Oct 2022 and while praying at midnight this song dropped in my spirit and I goggled it and sang along, I feel relieved bcos the burden has been heavy being I lost my dad(70yrs)bearly two yrs ago 2020 and now this, my mum was 67and is supposed to be 68 by 30th of November. Am now an orphan the 1st daughter with 6siblings and I know God is my anchor ⚓🔱.

This has touched my heart just singing the lyrics to myself. My grandfather went home to be with the Lord on October 6, 2022. He was 93 years old and was married to the love of his life for 74 years. Me and him got very close and I was very heartbroken that he passed. But as the days have gone by, I have turned to God in prayer and read the Bible more than I have been. I believe my grandpas legacy he left behind only encouraged me to get closer to God. I can’t wait till God calls me home or the rapture takes place so I can be in Heaven with all my loved ones. This year has been a year full of trials and sorrows. We’ve lost 6 people this year. But praise God I stand alone on his solid rock. I won’t give up my faith in him. It’s till death does me part.

Preparing for my dad's funeral who passed away aged 100, ,this song kept coming back to me all morning and day and night. I knew the holy spirit is saying something to me. "Lean on Jesus alone. He is the solid rock. He is all in all sufficient." My dad lived that way too.
I was asked to sing this song in a church in my dream, I knew the song but I could not sing it well, I do not flow well with the song due to lack of concretion and then I woke up after several trials by 4am.
