The image of our God;
Thou art the saints’ dear portion,
Imparted thru Thy blood.
Among all God’s creation
Thou art the firstborn One;
By Thee all was created,
All for Thyself to own.
In Thee all things consist;
Of all Thou art the center,
By Thee all things subsist.
Thou art the sole beginning,
The Firstborn from the dead;
And for the Church, Thy Body,
Thou art the glorious Head.
All fulness dwells in Thee,
That Thou might have the first place
In all we ever see.
All things Thou reconciledst
To God by Thy shed blood,
To thus present us holy
And blameless unto God.
Thou art God’s mystery;
The treasures of all wisdom
And knowledge are in Thee.
Thou art the hope of glory,
In us Thou dost abide;
In Thee we are perfected
And God is satisfied.
Which unto us reveal
Thyself, in whom we’re rooted,
The only One that’s real.
Enjoying all Thy riches,
Thy fulness we will be;
We’ll hold Thee, as Thy Body,
And grow with God in Thee.
Thou art in us our life;
Thy peace in us presiding,
We rest from all our strife.
In the new man, Thy Body,
Thou art the all in all;
Our all-inclusive Savior,
Thyself we’ll ever call.

Colossians 1:17-18 says, "And He is before all things, and all things cohere in Him; And He is the Head of the Body, the church; He is the beginning, the Firstborn from the dead, that He Himself might have the first place in all things"
Hallelujah! All things subsist together in Christ who is our holding center! We are held together in Him as likened to a hub to the spokes of a wheel!
Christ is also our sole beginning! He is the Head of the church, His Body. He is the first in creation and the first in resurrection.
Saints, Christ is worthy of preeminence in all things!

Hallelujah we are IN CHRIST! In Stanza 4:
In Thee God's fulness dwelleth,
[Col 2:9 "For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily,"]
Thou art God's mystery;
[Col 2:2b "... unto the full knowledge of the mystery of God, Christ,"]
The treasures of all wisdom
And knowledge are in Thee.
[Col 2:3 "In whom all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden."]
Thou art the hope of glory,
[Col 1:27b "... Christ in you, the hope of glory,"]
In us Thou dost abide;
[John 15:4a "Abide in Me and I in you."]
In Thee we are perfected
[Heb 10:14 "For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified."]
And God is satisfied.
[Eph 5:2 "And walk in love, even as Christ also loved us and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling savor."]

Oh if we do not see Christ in all these aspect we can never deeply enter into all the subjective experiences available to us. “The Christ we SEE is the Christ we GET”.

Thank you for your wonderful site! I just wanted you to know I think there is a bad chord in the third or fourth phrase of this particular hymn's recording.
