Rejoice! Rejoice! Our Bridegroom’s coming,
And the time will not be long
Before we hail that wedding morning
And lift up the glad new song.
And the time will not be long
Before we hail that wedding morning
And lift up the glad new song.
Oh, wondrous day! Oh, glorious morning,
When the Christ we love shall come:
With vessels filled and lamps all burning
Let us welcome His return.
Rejoice! Rejoice! Our Bridegroom’s coming
And the time will not be long
Before we hail that wedding morning
And lift up the glad new song.
When the Christ we love shall come:
With vessels filled and lamps all burning
Let us welcome His return.
Rejoice! Rejoice! Our Bridegroom’s coming
And the time will not be long
Before we hail that wedding morning
And lift up the glad new song.

Oh, let us now redeem each moment,
More the precious oil to buy,
And have our vessels filled with ointment
Ere we hear the midnight cry.
More the precious oil to buy,
And have our vessels filled with ointment
Ere we hear the midnight cry.

Oh, what a joy it is preparing
For our wedding with the Lord,
E’en in the tribulations sharing
For the bliss of such reward!
For our wedding with the Lord,
E’en in the tribulations sharing
For the bliss of such reward!

Oh, with what rapture and rejoicing
Shall the wedding day begin;
And then a thousand years of dining
At the marriage feast with Him!
Shall the wedding day begin;
And then a thousand years of dining
At the marriage feast with Him!

(2) To prepare the bride as the counterpart of the Bridegroom for the eternal marriage of the redeeming God with His redeemed.
The direction of the Lord’s move today is, second, to prepare His bride, the church, as His (the Bridegroom’s) counterpart (John 3:29-30) for the eternal marriage (Rev. 19:7-8), the universal marriage, of the redeeming God with His redeemed people (Rev. 22:17; 21:1-2, 9b-10). This universal marriage is typified by the union of the people of Israel with their redeeming God (Isa. 54:5; Hosea 2:19) and is clearly revealed in the New Testament (Eph. 5:25-27, 32).
(3) To bring in the kingdom of God as the spreading of the divine life for God’s eternal administration in the fulfillment of His eternal economy.

Lord, we want to live a life of buying an extra portion of the Spirit to saturate our entire being! May we pay the little price we have to pay today to gain the extra portion of the Spirit in our soul! We love you Lord Jesus 😀

Amen! Rejoice!
We must learn to rejoice in all kinds of situations. Our situation will pass away. The reality is that we are preparing for our Bridegroom's coming. This is one thing we can be sure of. Let's be sober-minded. Rejoice at the real situation!
