I appreciate the alternative lines, since atonement is incorrect dealing with OT blood sacrifices, but Christ's blood was an expiation. Our sins aren't covered, they are completely gone.

I believe one desire of the Son of Man, Who came to seek & save those who are lost is to "teach us the value of a soul".
