As a child in the Junior choir we use to sing this song, In those days I thought it very innocent. As time has gone by I have frequently pondered is it necessary for all people to be washed whiter than snow? If it is then there will be many people who will never have life with God because no matter the about of washing in the blood we receive we can never be white. I am grateful for how the almighty made me in the image of God. I love myself just the way I am but still I want to grow so I can be the best me I can be.

The first 2 lines popped into my head while I was studying Romans 3:25-128. I am profoundly hearing impaired these days and rely on a cochlear implant. My church homes have long-since stopped singing it. Thank you for posting the words, so that I can hear this wonderful hymn again in my head. Today, it suddenly meant more than it ever has.
