Wind from heaven blows and, as Spirit known

1
Wind from heaven blows and, as Spirit known,
Blows, like Pentecost, on us again;
Blows, makes soft our heart; blows, revives each part;
Blows, renews us, sets us free from sin.

Blowing! Blowing!
Holy Spirit’s blowing!
Spirit’s gracious cloud now covers us.
Burning! Burning!
Holy fire’s burning!
Bright electrum radiates to all.
2
Spirit, cloud so great, Tent of Meeting shades,
Covers and supplies bounteous grace.
Us He sanctifies with His very life,
Making us His spir’tual dwelling place.
3
All-consuming fire purges us entire,
Burns all hidden spots and purifies;
Burns all filth away, burns all common stains,
And through this the Spirit deifies.
4
God’s electrum shines in this heart of mine;
Thus, His life divine now I possess.
Human with divine—mingled, one to shine,
That through me His life I can express.

I wish this hymn can be translated into other languages such as Spanish.

Cloud also typifies the leading of Jehovah which is by His presence. (Exo.  33:14 - And He said, My presence shall go with you, and I will give you rest. )
