What a Friend we have in Jesus,
All our sins and griefs to bear!
What a privilege to carry
Everything to God in prayer!
O what peace we often forfeit,
O what needless pain we bear,
All because we do not carry
Everything to God in prayer!
All our sins and griefs to bear!
What a privilege to carry
Everything to God in prayer!
O what peace we often forfeit,
O what needless pain we bear,
All because we do not carry
Everything to God in prayer!

Have we trials and temptations?
Is there trouble anywhere?
We should never be discouraged,
Take it to the Lord in prayer.
Can we find a friend so faithful
Who will all our sorrows share?
Jesus knows our every weakness,
Take it to the Lord in prayer.
Is there trouble anywhere?
We should never be discouraged,
Take it to the Lord in prayer.
Can we find a friend so faithful
Who will all our sorrows share?
Jesus knows our every weakness,
Take it to the Lord in prayer.

Are we weak and heavy-laden,
Cumbered with a load of care?
Precious Savior, still our refuge—
Take it to the Lord in prayer;
Do thy friends despise, forsake thee?
Take it to the Lord in prayer;
In His arms He’ll take and shield thee,
Thou wilt find a solace there.
Cumbered with a load of care?
Precious Savior, still our refuge—
Take it to the Lord in prayer;
Do thy friends despise, forsake thee?
Take it to the Lord in prayer;
In His arms He’ll take and shield thee,
Thou wilt find a solace there.

Brothers and Sisters,
I encourage everyone to incorporate hymns in your daily devotions in your quiet time to the Lord. Sing to the Lord. Let Him be your audience as you sing praise to Him.

Much Grace and Comfort to the brothers in Nigeria in their loss.

Still mourning on the death of our dear Shepherd. My Pastor, who went to be with the Lord on Tuesday In a ghastly motor accident while coming back for a Church member's family funeral.
This is great blow to the Church at large and most importantly our local assembly. Both the family and the Church just lost a great man of God. He loved the Lord , has passion for His work (Evangelism), his zeal to Gods work no one can match it . And to top it up, he loved people not only believers, always generous to listen and give comforting and encouraging word. God has used him greatly in the live of so many.
Today is Sunday and I'm so scare to go to Church, as if today should just disappear.
The song came into my heart this morning and I know JESUS knows it all and He bears all our grieves. JESUS will heal the family and the Church. Amen. Good morning.

I have been through a lot in my walk with JESUS, I have been turned down by friends, family church members just for the name of JESUS, but I never was alone even then because this JESUS was a True best friend to, always comforting and whispering great things to me. Oh how I love this friend called JESUS.

Right now, I'm sitting in the waiting room for an interview and through my anxiety and nervousness, this song plays in my head. This is my grandpa's favourite hymn and singing it with him is always a blessing. He sings it through all of his difficulties in his old age and he models that we can face all things with a little prayer.

I sang it this morning with lyrics and give it all to Him that is able to do exceedingly above more than I can ask or think; according to His power that worketh in me.
