Oh, let me feel Thee near me; The world is ever near; I see the sights that dazzle, The tempting sounds I hear; My foes are ever near me, Around me and within; But, Jesus, draw Thou nearer, And shield my soul from sin.
Oh, let me feel Thee near me;
The world is ever near;
I see the sights that dazzle,
The tempting sounds I hear;
My foes are ever near me,
Around me and within;
But, Jesus, draw Thou nearer,
And shield my soul from sin.

Oh, let me hear Thee speaking, In accents clear and still, Above the storms of passion, The murmurs of self-will; Oh, speak to reassure me, To hasten, or control; Oh, speak, and make me listen, Thou Guardian of my soul.
Oh, let me hear Thee speaking,
In accents clear and still,
Above the storms of passion,
The murmurs of self-will;
Oh, speak to reassure me,
To hasten, or control;
Oh, speak, and make me listen,
Thou Guardian of my soul.

Em
listen,
Thou
D
Guardian
A7
of my

Oh, let me see Thy footmarks, And in them plant mine own; My hope to follow duly Is in Thy strength alone. Oh, guide me, call me, draw me, Uphold me to the end; And then to rest receive me, My Savior and my Friend.
I learned this hymn about 30 years ago in school. This morning the first and last stanza just dropped in my spirit and I sought out the full hymn to sing. Very soothing and reassuring hymn. I love the way it prays for Christ to direct and control.
Here I am getting set to pray in our church office, and I started hearing this song in my spirit man. Anytime song erupt in my spirit and keep playing like that, I normally look for the lyrics if I don't know them well, so I could sing with all ofy heart.
This song has being one of my favorite hymns.
It surely does help to reassure my mind that the caller is bigger than the oppositions put together

This is for the lovers of God, and those that want to do business with him. To walk as sons, and to share Jesus to the world.
