1
Out of my bondage, sorrow, and night,
Jesus, I come! Jesus, I come!
Into Thy freedom, gladness, and light,
    Jesus, I come to Thee!
Out of my sickness into Thy health,
Out of my want and into Thy wealth,
Out of my sin and into Thyself,
    Jesus, I come to Thee!
2
Out of my shameful failure and loss,
Jesus, I come! Jesus, I come!
Into the glorious gain of Thy cross,
    Jesus, I come to Thee!
Out of earth’s sorrows into Thy balm,
Out of life’s storm and into Thy calm,
Out of distress to jubilant psalm,
    Jesus, I come to Thee!
3
Out of unrest and arrogant pride,
Jesus, I come! Jesus, I come!
Into Thy blessed will to abide,
    Jesus, I come to Thee!
Out of myself to dwell in Thy love,
Out of despair into raptures above,
Upward for aye on wings like a dove,
    Jesus, I come to Thee!
4
Out of the fear and dread of the tomb,
Jesus, I come! Jesus, I come!
Into the joy and pleasure, Thine own,
    Jesus, I come to Thee!
Out of the depths of ruin untold,
Into the flock Thy love doth enfold,
Ever Thy glorious face to behold,
    Jesus, I come to Thee!

This song came to me in my dreams tonight - wonderful memories of gospel services in a little meeting hall some 60 years ago now. ‘Ever Thy Glorious Face to Behold’, Jesus I Come to Thee! ’

At 3:00pm today - Resurrection Sunday, I was desperately crying out to God to help me overcome my weaknesses, crying to God to baptize me in his love, as I was praying, I got this song in my spirit: "Out of my bondage". I didn't know the lyrics. So I searched and found it here and every line is so profound and I appreciate it so much, exactly the plea of my heart as I was praying in the spirit.

This is a great encouragement that just as I am Jesus I come

It's really a delight to sing and even listen to the words

I woke up wanting more from the relationship I have with God and His only Begotten Son Jesus our Lord, and as I prepared to worship, the tune and scraps of the lyrics of this song came to mind. I could not find it in my old hymnal, so I chose another song. But I could not get my mind away from this song. I searched and behold here it is and here I am. It blessed, and is still blessing my soul, because it places the right words into my mouth that express my heart's needs, and what it wants to say and sing to my Lord. The testimonies of the others are also an inspiration and encouragement to me.

This song came to me last night Just as my head touched the pillow. Fortunately, I was able to recall it this morning. I love this song. God is so comforting and reassuring!

There are so many things the Lord has to bring us out of in order to bring us fully into all that He has for us. “Out of myself, to dwell in Thy Love” The more we just come to the Lord, the more released from all the things we are in and the more we are able to experience Him and all His riches.

Inspiring and full of assurance.

Stanza 4 is re-translated:

4. Out of the might of death of the foe,

Jesus, I come! Jesus, I come!

Into the life that Christ does bestow,

Jesus, I come to Thee!

Out of the hopeless, endless abyss,

Into the home of refuge and bliss,

E'er to behold Thy face, glorious;

Jesus, I come to Thee!
